Wendy McMahan, M.S.
President
Wendy comes to For The Children with over 20 years of experience serving vulnerable children. In the United States, she has led child welfare programs along a full continuum of care, including child abuse prevention, foster care, family reunification, and adoption. Previously, she worked for many years facilitating church partnerships for the benefit of vulnerable children and families in developing countries. She holds a M.S. from Texas A&M University and is a TBRI Trained Practitioner. Wendy brings a passion for life change and a love for the Church. She and her husband Tim were foster parents for nine years and are the parents of three daughters.
Kerry Rhodes, M.Ed.
Senior V.P.
Kerry oversees the Chapter Growth and Chapter Success teams responsible for identifying, onboarding and supporting churches throughout the U.S. that are well suited for establishing Royal Family KIDS programs. Previously Kerry had a role as Group Employee Benefits sales for seven years, and balanced early parenthood with roles as a pre-school teacher and elementary classroom aide. Kerry has a B.S. in Business from the University of Southern California, a MA in Education from Pepperdine University and is a TBRI Trained Practitioner. She is married to Ken and has 3 adult sons.
Tony Choi, M.B.A., C.P.A.
V.P. Finance
Before joining For The Children, Tony served as the CFO for Opportunity International China, was a partner at Folkers, Choi & Associates, Director of Finance for Vanguard University accounting manager for the Southern California District Council of the Assemblies of God and for Balser, Horowitz, Frank & Wakeling Accountancy Corporation. He was an adjunct professor at Vanguard University, and received his B.A. from Vanguard University and his M.B.A. from Chapman University. Tony was involved with FTC Newport Mesa's camp as volunteer in various positions for 30 years. He and his wife Kim live locally and have two adult children.
Jeff Juhala, M.O.L.
V.P. Training
Before becoming Vice President of Training at the national office, Jeff directed the FTC Concord, CA, camp from 2001 to 2005. Jeff has a 15-year background in safety and risk management training in the construction industry where he also taught leadership development. He was a member of Toastmasters for 4 years, a licensed Practitioner for Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) as well as a licensed minister. He holds a B.A. in Business Management from Liberty University, an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University, and lives with his wife Janet and four children in Orange County.
Cristina M. Robeck, M.B.A.
V.P. Development
With extensive experience in world missions and nonprofit leadership, Cristina brings a passion for development to her work at For The Children. Prior to her non-profit leadership endeavors, Cristina owned and operated a design firm specializing in business marketing and publication. Most recently, she has served in partner development and operations for international and local organizations serving children and families. She holds an MBA from Vanguard University. Cristina lives in Orange County with her husband John Mark and two children.
